Oletko 18-25 -vuotias? Puhutko ja kirjoitatko sujuvaa englantia? Katseletko paljon elokuvia? Kiinnostaisiko lähteä Venetsian elokuvajuhlille täydellä ylläpidolla? Jos vastaus kaikkiin on kyllä, niin laitappa äkkiä hakemus alla olevien ohjeiden mukaisesti.

Europa Cinemas would like to invite you to take part in the 6th edition of “28 Times Cinema”!

Launched in 2010 in partnership with the European Parliament, the LUX Prize and the Venice Days (Giornate Degli Autori), this initiative enables 28 young moviegoers (one participant per Member State of the European Union) to take part to the next edition of the Venice Film Festival (2-12 September 2015).
Requirements:
· Moviegoers must be aged 18 – 25 years of age with a good knowledge of English (reading, written and spoken) in order to be able to actively take part in the discussions around the films.

· Moviegoers need to send us :

o A brief CV (in English);

o A short statement outlining the reasons why they should be considered for this opportunity (10 lines max.);

o A brief statement about what would be the most important things to consider as a Jury member when watching a film (innovation, emotion, quality of the filmmaking, quality of the script) (10 lines max.);

o A description of 3 scenes from 3 films they have watched recently (5 sentences max. per film);

o A short review of a film distributed in your country within the last year (10 lines max.);

o A top 5 of favourite films recently distributed in your country.

Successful participants will be invited to spend 13 days at the Festival to be part of the Venice Days’ Jury and to watch the films that will be competing for the 2015 LUX Prize edition. They will also get to participate in meetings with film professionals, share their ideas and opinions during debates with filmmakers and other guests in attendance. The European Parliament LUX Prize will organize and cover the costs of accommodation and travel for each participant for the whole duration of the event while Europa Cinemas will take care of a per diem.

The selected participants will get a Festival Accreditation giving priority access to screenings of the Venice Days. They have to commit to:
· Being present in Venice from Tuesday 1st to Sunday 13th September;

· Watching all the films presented at the Venice Days (approx. 15) and at the LUX Prize 2015 Competition;

· Fulfilling their Jury duties;

· Taking part in the round tables discussions and debates with filmmakers and other guests;

· Contributing to a blog, which will be specifically developed for this event;

· Writing a daily postcard for the Europa Cinemas and media partners’ websites.

Please send us their applications via email to Irene Angel Echeverri (iangel@europa-cinemas.org) and Claudia Droc (cdroc@europa-cinemas.org) by 24th June 2015.
